How it all started...
St. Andrews belongs to the Presbyterian Church in America. We began meeting in 1984 and were organized as a church in 1986. For that whole history we have emphasized small groups, Biblical teaching and God-centered, participatory worship.
We are seeking to be a New Testament Church, committed to honoring the authority of God’s Word and dedicated to growing in that commitment.

What is the PCA?
The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) was formed in 1973 to be a denomination that is “Faithful to the Scriptures, True to the Reformed Faith, and Obedient to the Great Commission.”
The PCA is an evangelical denomination in that we proclaim the gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. The word “evangelical” comes from the Greek word meaning “good news.” We desire all people to trust in the saving work of Jesus and enjoy eternal life in him.

Where we are headed...
We know that God will extend his church to every corner of this world as he redeems and rescues people from every tribe, tongue, and nation (Mark 16:15; Rev. 7:9) – bringing dead sinners to life. We are confident that God is at work, rescuing and transforming His people - both here in Columbus, and around the world.
Our prayer and hope is that through Jesus’ work in and through
St. Andrews, the city of Columbus would look more and more like the City of God.
